Goibne’s Armor

  • Decent defense armor – Def +42
  • Has plus VIT, which is a critical stat for Tank type Paladin and bonus HP – VIT +5, and Max HP + 10%
  • Where can we get this? – This item is dropped by Goblin Leader

Goibne’s Spaulders

  • High defense garment – Def +22
  • Has plus VIT, which is a critical stat for Tank type Paladin and ranged damage reduction – VIT +2, and Reduction of Ranged Dmg +10%
  • Where can we get this? – Craftable in Morroc Equipment Craft

Goibne’s Greaves

  • High defense footgear – Def +25
  • Has magic defense and SP regeneration – M.def +35, SP Regen +5
  • Where can we get this? – This item is dropped by Kobold Leader, this is the most expensive item in Goibne’s set so I suggest getting this item last

Cardo

  • Recommended Tank weapon because of its defense bonuses.
  • Has low attack, but has defense bonuses – Atk +202, for Refining +1, Def +1%, M.Def +0.5%
  • Has plus VIT – VIT +3
  • Where can we get this? – Craftable in Payon Equipment Craft

Goibne’s Helm

  • High defense headwear – Def +10, M.Def +5
  • Has plus VIT – VIT +3
  • Where can we get this? – Craftable in Geffen Craft Headwear

VIT Necklace

  • Decent attack and has plus VIT – Atk +42, VIT +2
  • Where can we get this? Time Rift drop

Skill Build

Swordsman

  • Bash – 9
  • Magnum Break – 1
  • Taunt – 10 (Taunt should be maxed. This is Paladin’s primary tanking skill)
  • Endure – 10 (Endure should be maxed because it increases M.Def. This will help you tank better)
  • Increase Recuperation – 10 (This will increase HP Regeneration and the effects of HP Recovery items)

Crusader

  • Spear Mastery – 10 (This skill will give additional attack damage. For pure tank Paladins, this skill may be omitted and replaced by other tanking skills like Devotion)
  • Cavalry Combat – 1 (This will enable you to attack while mounted but will lose some attack speed)
  • Shield Charge – 3 (Required to add 3 skill points here to access Shield Chain)
  • Shield Chain – 10 (This skill has decent damage, can be used for levelling purposes)
  • Auto Guard – 10 (Tanking skill that will add 50% chance to parry attacks, shield should be equipped)
  • Divine Protection – 6 should be maxed to 10 later (Increases Defense by 20 and reduces damage from undead and devil monsters by 10% at max level

Paladin

  • Shield Boomerang – 5 (This skill has high damage, skill primarily used for leveling)
  • Bliss – 5 (Permanently increases healing received by 5% and also increases VIT by 5. Also need to max this skill because of the plus in VIT)
  • Faith – 10 (Permanently gains 2000 HP, takes 50% less holy damage. Also need to max this skill because of the plus in HP)
  • Reflect Shield – 3 (Required to add 3 skill points here to access Sacrifice)
  • Sacrifice – 5 (Skill can be used for PVP and levelling purposes, skill may be omitted for skills like Selfless Shield and Defending Aura )

Manipulate the laws of nature with the Creator. Creators are great tanks thanks to their Homunculus and can dish out a considerable amount of damage to make your enemies fear you. Not only that, Creators can weaken tanks incredibly which is perfect for War of Emperium.

From experience, Creator is hella fun to play.
